Grants
The Ashworth Trust is receiving very high numbers of applications.
Please read our restrictions and recommendations carefully, and be aware of timelines, ie time delays before your project can be considered. (See FAQs)
We are currently unable to support all the worthy causes that apply to us.
In making the final choices, we usually prioritise smaller charities over larger ones, where our funds can make a larger proportional difference.
We prioritise projects over core costs in most cases.
We prioritise projects where we can clearly see what difference our funding will make.
Levels of grant do not usually exceed three thousand pounds. Very occasionally, a grant of up to five thousand pounds may be made.
If a charity has been successful in receiving a grant, we would not normally donate to them again in less than thirty-six months.
